UCPath Notice

New Benefit Termination Report and Job Aid
UCPath developed two new tools to assess benefit eligibility and terminations:

  * Benefit eligibility and triggers job aid
  *   Benefit termination report

Benefit Eligibility and Triggers Job Aid
Multiple fields in UCPath are used to evaluate and determine an employee’s eligibility for UC benefits. These fields must be accurate for the system to assign the correct benefits package. To better understand these fields, please review the Benefit Triggers Job Aid<https://sp.ucop.edu/sites/ucpathhelp/LocationUsers/LOCplayer/index.html?Guid=22e4ab76-38b2-4d12-8214-bcfa007593cb>.

Benefit Termination Report (R-064)
Users can review this report to proactively identify errors and, as needed, update key fields in UCPath as outlined in the Benefit Triggers Job Aid<https://sp.ucop.edu/sites/ucpathhelp/LocationUsers/LOCplayer/index.html?Guid=22e4ab76-38b2-4d12-8214-bcfa007593cb>.
· Previously-eligible employees will appear on the report if their coverage is terminated (based on the current effective dated row compared to the previous effective date in UCPath benefits)
· The “Last Updated By” column will display an employee ID if updated by someone at the same location
· The “Last Updated By’ column will display “Outside BU” if updated by someone from a different business unit (e.g., UCPath)
· Users may run the report by business unit, department, org, pay status and date range
