Human Resources offers the New Employee Financial and Retirement Planning Workshop to provide assistance to employees required to make a selection on the UC Retirement Choice program and contributing to a voluntary UC retirement savings plan. The workshop will provide information regarding additional benefits available through California Casualty insurance, Altura and SchoolsFirst local credit unions.
Please join the ongoing bi-monthly meetings to learn from the plan experts; receive guidance and answers to your questions in order to make quality decisions about investing in your future. These virtual workshops will be held via Zoom until further notice due to the campus closure.
The topics discussed will explore the following:

*       Introduction to key financial and retirement planning concepts

*       Consideration and resources for determining when you are ready to retire

*       Four-step approach to creating a retirement income plan
