Good news! The 2026 UC Tech Annual Conference Call for Proposals deadline
has been extended by one week to *Monday, March 30 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific
Time)*. If you've been considering a submission, this is your sign to turn
the volume up on your ideas. Everyone has a perspective we can learn from,
and we’d love to hear yours.

*Office Hour Writing Tips*

Thank you to everyone who joined last week’s office hour! It was a
productive discussion among participants, and experienced presenters shared
guidance on writing a proposal that stands out to reviewers and attendees.



Here are some of the main takeaways:

   - *Write for readers at all skill levels* so your topic is clear and
   understandable to anyone.
   - *Create a catchy title* that grabs attention and conveys what your
   session is about.
   - *Focus your abstract on the value to attendees* through how and why
   your session will benefit them.
