[Ucr-sdrc] Seeking undergraduate or graduate student(s) to serve on campus Digital Accessiblity Advisory Committee

Dear SDRC Scholar,

We are seeking undergraduate or graduate student(s) to serve on
the new campus Digital Accessibility Advisory Committee.

The group will draw from and maintain communication with other relevant
groups such as the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Disability Inclusion
(CACDI), the ITS Web Advisory Board, and the Drupal web masters group.

The first meeting will be held in late fall quarter (December 2025), with
some expectation for review and discussion of the UCR Information
Technology Accessibility Policy Program (ITAPP) via email outside of the
meeting. Meetings will be held monthly for the remainder of the 2025-2026
academic year, with potential sub-committee meetings on an ad hoc basis
(likely more frequent between January and April 2026). The total estimated
time commitment for each committee member would be an average of 2 hours
per month.

The frequency of meetings will decrease to quarterly or an as-needed basis
during 2026-2027.

This is a volunteer opportunity. We also need to ensure the student(s)
involved are in good academic standing.
