[Ucr-sdrc] Reminder: The College Tour / UCR Students Needed

Good morning all!

This is just a friendly reminder that we're still actively looking for UCR students (including 2022 graduates) to be featured on our episode of The College Tour, featured on Amazon Prime.

We're looking for a diverse group of students, in all aspects, to discuss their UCR experience and why students from around the world should be considering UCR. We need 10 students total and each one will have their own segment / theme, usually based on the topics they want to share and talk about. They don't need any camera or acting experience, we'll help them write their own script and we'll be there to guide them through recording their segment with the professional crew. Students need to be available July 25-29th to come to campus at least a few days to shoot.

If they're interested, they need to record a video (less than 2 minutes) about themselves and the sorts of topics they'd want to talk about. Faculty, academics, involvement, the city of Riverside... anything they want. They'll just do a brief idea here, which will be turned into a full segment if the casting folks like their ideas. If a student creates a video and it exceeds the 100mb file size, have them email me their video via Google Drive or Dropbox and I can compress it for them and submit on their behalf. Audition videos are due Friday June 10th - but we likely won't check them until Monday morning if students need an extra day or two.
