Objective:
The goal of the Neurodiversity Social Mixers (NSM) is to provide support for UCR students who identify as Neurodivergent, Autistic, Asperger, ADHD or for any student with neurological processing differences seeking social connections while improving their individual skills as a college student.

  *   The NSM will provide an inclusive safe space for students to connect.
  *   The NSM will assist students with exploring alternative communication, when faced with barriers.
  *   The NSM with provide students an opportunity to practice a skill(s) which may impact their school performance.
  *   By participating, neurodivergent students will have a platform for infinite connections and success at UCR.

April Autism Acceptance: Addressing Neurodivergent Student's Views

  *   Wednesday 4/6/2022 from 4-5:00 pm: Open discussion, Is the Neurotypical Community listening? Come discuss ideas, and thoughts on Autism/Neurodivergent Acceptance.
  *   Wednesday 4/20/2021 from 4-5:00 pm: Identifying "Who Am I" and exploring all the great traits and intersection identities you have as a college student.
May: Mental Health Month

  *   Wednesday 5/4/2022 from 4-5:00 pm: Navigating Transitions with Self-Compassion (CAPS Guest presenter: Jordan Bleau)
  *   Wednesday 5/18/2022 from 4-5:00 pm: Moving into Mindfulness follow with mental health Q&A with CAPS counselor, Jordan Bleau.
June: Pre-final Support week

  *   Wednesday 6/1/2022 from 4-5:00 pm: Decrease Anxiety and Learn about the Pomodoro strategy
  *   Wednesday 6/2/2022 from 4-5:00 pm: Pomodoro Study Block
