[Ucr-sdrc] Spring 2021 Health Professions Opportunities

Dear SDRC Student,

Health Professions Advising Center (HPAC), a unit of Undergraduate Education and Student Engagement, has three upcoming opportunities that we would like to share with you:


  1.  HPAC will launch its recruitment for their 2021-2022 Ambassador Cohort on Monday, March 15th via Handshake (position #4528362). Please see the attached a flier and the position expectations and requirements are included in the Handshake posting. The Ambassador application will close on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 5pm.



  1.  HPAC is co-hosting this year's UCR Health Professions School Fair & Expo on Wednesday, April 14th - a free opportunity for students and Univ. of California alumni to engage directly with admissions representatives from health professions programs. Flier attached.


  1.  Western Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (WAAHP) and West Coast Health Professions Conference!  This is a biennial conference designed for pre-health advisors, however, this year's conference will include a portion exclusively for students and recent college graduates (Thursday, May 27th) for only $5!! Flier attached.

UCR Academic Advisors are also welcome to register this conference. Student and Advisor registration info. along with program agenda may be found at: https://www.waahp.org/meetings.
