Learn about the different programs that Education Abroad has to offer. This discussion will include how students with disabilities can access their accommodations while they are studying abroad.


Tech Tuesday: Note taking Apps (Otter Voice)

Otter helps you capture, find, and share important moments from your lectures, interviews, and everyday conversations so you can stay focused, save time, and work more effectively. Using AI, Otter listens to your voice conversations and generates "smart notes" - accurate, machine-generated text that is synchronized with audio and enriched with speaker tags and summary keywords.
Join us in this virtual workshop to get a brief overview of this recorded audio and transcription that also aids in note taking strategies.

ARC/SDRC Journey to Academic Success Workshop

Learn how to interpret and retain necessary information along with different types of note systems & techniques for taking notes before, during, and after lecture. Provides an explanation of test types and test-taking tips as well as information on how to maximize time when taking a test.

Information about how to become a peer notetaker will also be shared in this workshop.

Self-Advocacy Workshop

improve your self-advocacy skills as it relates to requesting clarification about course material, communicating disability related information, or addressing concerns.  Additionally, this workshop will help you understands your rights and responsibilities as it relates to accessing SDRC resources during the Fall 2020 quarter.
