Dear SDRC Students,

SDRC is participating in the Annual Giving Tuesday this year on 12/01/2020 to raise funding for Accessible Technology. We highly recommend that you reach out to people who are well connected to other alumni, who have a strong following on social media, and/or individuals who are willing to send out some emails and social media posts leading up to #GivingTueUCR and on the day of. If you sign up to be an Ambassador, you will receive a #GivingTueUCR Ambassador Toolkit that will include marketing information, social media templates, emails, and a timeline of when to post information. SDRC Student Advisory Board
SDRC is forming a new student advisory board. The SDRC Student Advisory Board provides a student voice to the administration of student disability services regarding policies and procedures that govern the operation of SDRC. The role of the Student Advisory Board is to provide effective feedback on updates to services provided by SDRC staff and to provide suggestions for improvements to service delivery and general campus access. All final decisions about implementation of suggestions will remain with the professionals providing the services, with respect to legal requirements, university policies, service priorities, and the availability of resources and staffing.

Note: The Student Advisory Board does not address individual student or faculty concerns with SDRC. Individual concerns should follow the formal methods of reporting their concerns to the appropriate SDRC staff or campus ADA coordinator and to actively participate in the process to resolve the concerns as per policies and procedures related to disability accommodations and grievances.
