UCR STRIDE Program


Happy Holidays UB Students,

UC Riverside STRIDE program is dedicated towards helping 60 high school students in the Riverside and San Bernardino counties who are interested in the STEM field gain access to  a 5-week summer research training opportunity. The program will educate students on communication and research skills through workshops, discussions, careers panels and mentoring sessions. Students will participate in laboratory research projects in the fields of bioengineering, material science, tissue engineering, neuroscience & neural engineering, stem cell biology, aging related diseases, toxicology, and much more. To participate students must be 16 at the start of the program, complete an application by January 19, 2024,  have a letter of recommendation from a STEM teacher, and an optional second letter of recommendation. Those who participate will receive a $2,500 stipend upon completion. Please see the flyer below and link for the application.
