Thailand renaming from Siam 
will have her 70th anniversary (๗๐ ปีประเทศไทย). 
Jit Phumisak, นักคิดนักเขียน, a great nak kid nak khian 
had this to say: 
สยาม โดยจิตร ภูมิศักดิ์ 
"ความหมายของสยามชั้นหลังสุด..... 
หมายถึงดินแดนที่เป็นเอกภาพอันหนึ่ง 
ซึ่งภายในดินแดนนี้ 
มีประชาชนหลายเชื้อชาติร่วมกันเป็นของ 
นั่นคือ สยาม 
เป็นชื่อของรัฐประชาชาติรัฐหนึ่งไปโดยเด็ดขาด. 
และมิได้เป็นชื่อเฉพาะของชนชาติใดชนชาติเดียว.

Today is Aung San Suu Kyi’s 64 birthday.
I am sending my wish from Siam to Insein 
with best regards, and with my 64 words that:
“Considering that the military of Burma has been repressing 
and brutalizing democracy-loving people of Burma, 
and has imprisoned Aung San Suu Kyi, since 1988, 
we, democracy-loving people in Siam, 
have repeatedly urged the military to return sovereign power 
to the Burmese people.  
But these pleas have been unsuccessful.
I believe that it is only appropriate that ASEAN
 expel Burma from our organization.”

Readers should be aware that the Petitiononline site suffered a massive DDoS hacking attack over the past week.

The site is still inaccessible from Thailand and, I presume, from everywhere else.
