    Position: Part-time Program Consultant, Technical Assistance
    Timeframe: 1 year, 5 days/month
    Location: Bangkok, Thailand



    American Cancer Society (ACS)ʼs International Program focuses on capacity
    building and collaboration with cancer organizations and leaders across the
    globe. The program consultant will work with Lead Manager, Southeast Asia
    Program to implement a new ACS International initiative in Thailand under
    the Pfizer Foundation Global Health Partnerships initiative.


    Responsibilities:

    ·     Facilitate planning and progress communication between ACS and local
    stakeholders
    ·     Evaluate training and grants by tracking
     and summarizing objectives
    and outcomes
    ·     Maintain a knowledge base of the national context and ongoing cancer
    control activities
    ·     Provide on-the-ground administrative support for trainings and other
    meetings or events

    Requirements:

    ·     Well-organized administrator able to work independently
    ·     Experience in multi-day event or conference planning (20+
    participants)
    ·     Demonstrated communication and networking activities employing
    web-based media
    ·     Background in grants management a plus
    ·     Native Thai speaker and fluency in English, with strong writing
    ability
    ·     Thorough knowledge and demonstrated practice of relevant professional
    customs
    ·     A graduate degree in social sciences preferred
