I am a British author and journalist who is writing an alternative  
political history of Thailand, with special reference to the Chakri  
kings -- past, present and future. I have received a small advance  
and a commitment to publish from a notable London publisher, but I  
require additional funds to complete the necessary travel and  
research in Thailand. I would be very grateful for any suggestions  
for how I might fund what I hope will be a timely and talked-about book.
