Cambodia agrees to exclude disputed land from world heritage registration

Cambodia has agreed to exclude the disputed border area with Thailand from its plan to register Preah Vihear Temple as a world heritage site, Thai Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama said Saturday.

He said Cambodia agreed to register only the ruins and excluded the disputed land during a tri-partite meeting among Thailand, Cambodia and Unesco in Paris on Thursday.
