I'm forwardng this message to some people who may be interested in sending some donations to the Burmese cyclone victims through a group that can get through to the people who need them. Thanks for getting in touch with me about donations for Burma.
 
I've been collecting donations and sending them in by private courier - i.e. friends who have been going in - for delivery to various grass roots and monastic organizations working in both relief and recovery.

I've also set up the "Spiritual Adoption Programme".  See attached flier.
 
A monk and a layman will be coming here in two weeks and I will give them some more donations that I have collected.  They may be able to take in the clothing you have.
 
If people wish to donate, they can do so by transferring to my bank account in Chiang Mai and I will get it inside without the junta getting their hands on it.
