[Tlc] TLC-membership news

Dear All,

I have been recently updating the website tlc.ucr.edu and have added new links, new publications, resources, etc. 

I was updating the member news section and noticed that: 

1) many members (we have 528 right now) have not submitted a 2-3 sentence biography. That is fine. However, if you wouldn't mind, other members (esp. graduate students) like to read about the news/bios of our members. Please send one in if you haven't. You can see the present list of member bios at:

2) Many of the bios are out-of-date. Some graduate students have earned their degrees, some professors have changed jobs or gotten promotions, etc. If you would like to update your bio., please send me a new 2-3 sentence bio. 

I would like to finish this major update (that I have een doing since October) before the new year. If you have time, please send me news.

Other matters:
Keep sending word of new publications (esp. your own) and related news. The TLC is open to all political points of view.  

Finally, our membership in Cambodian Studies has increased significantly recently. This is great! Please send in more Cambodian related news as well for the tlc listserv.

The annual AAS meeting missive will go out soon as well.
