BIBLIOGRAPHER for ASIAN LANGUAGES and STUDIES

The University of Colorado at Boulder, University Libraries,
seeks a Bibliographer for Asian Languages and Studies which is
a temporary (four year) grant-funded position with the
possibility for an extension. This appointment is at the
instructor level and reports to the faculty director for
Collection Development. This position focuses on developing
collections in Asian languages for digital and traditional
materials using grant funds and other assigned allocations.
Additional responsibilities include managing funds and related
gifts or grants and providing support for collection
management needs. As appropriate, this position will provide
instruction and reference services for Asian languages and
studies and will participate in special projects. Some travel
may be involved. The successful candidate will serve as
liaison with the East Asian Languages and Civilizations
Department and the Center for Asian Studies. In coordination
with the faculty director for Collection Development, this
position works collaboratively with the Asian Studies
librarian who reports to the Reference and Instructional
