Dear All,

John Hartmann recently called my attention to this important
link to new unicode fonts for Lao, Khmer, and Tham from
Vincent Berment. I thought many of the members on the list
would also find it useful.

Dear all,
 
I am glad to announce you the new GMSWord Software which
provides easy text input in Unicode for Khmer, Lao and Tham
(*). It also offers other text and language processing features.
 
GMSWord is a complement to MS Word. It has been designed to be
further adapted to other languages, in particular Southeast
Asian ones.

NB: The www.gmsware.org collaborative Web site itself is
currently being moved to another server and will be fully
available again very soon.
 
If you are interested in Southeast Asian languages processing,

(*) : As Tham is not standardised yet, an emulation of the
Tham Unicode has been realized.

Je suis heureux de vous annoncer la sortie du logiciel GMSWord
qui permet de saisir très facilement du texte en Unicode en
khmer, en lao et en tham (*). Il offre aussi d'autres
fonctionnalités de traitement du texte et de la langue.
 
GMSWord est intégré à MS Word. Il a été conçu pour s'adapter à
d'autres langues d'Asie du Sud-Est.
