In response to the annoucnement of Jirmsak speaking in San
Francisco:

I last heard Jirmsak speak at Thammasat a couple of months
ago, on a panel with Sondhi Limthongkul and Chai-Anan
Samudawanit, a few months after they, along with the Peoples
Alliance for Democracy, had been calling for the King to
depose Thaksin and impose a royally-appointed PM. They have
now got their wish. One would hope Jirmsak is asked why he has
lent his support to a movement to overthrow a democratically
elected government and its replacement with a royalist
dictatorship. This is the "democracy" that the PAD stands for.
