from the week of September 28, 2026:
Employment Module
-
Added GSMS to the list of authorized applications in R’Web.
-
Appointment Letters now display the student’s acceptance with the date
stamp.
-
Users can now select multiple offers in the offer list view and download
all their letters with a single click.
-
The Eligible Students list now reflects the major/college if a student's
major is changed for the hiring term.
-
The search screen field “PI Name” was added and filtering is allowed on
this field.
-
New email templates were added to differentiate student notification
emails from the carbon copies (cc’s) received by the hiring department or
faculty.
-
The Hiring Department email notifications now look at the hiring
department individual who sent the offer.
-
Users can now preview and download the Appointment and DOD letters
belonging to an offer as a single PDF document.
-
In the expanded view of the DOD user interface, an indicator was added
to inform users that adding a DOD is required, and the button is now
highlighted.
-
The Salary Increment field is now available in the Position dashboard
and reporting.
-
A new template was added to the GSR Appointment Letter that can be
applied to specific GSR job assignments, with its content displayed as an
addendum to the Appointment Letter.
-
The Department Chair error message has been updated to provide the
correct error message when an offer has a position that has been
deactivated.
-
If a position becomes inactive during the offer process, the offer can
no longer be sent, and the Hiring Department is notified with a message.
Admissions Module
-
Financial charts in the Admissions module now appear in the correct tab
based on each application's Slate status, including denied, cancelled, and
withdrawn applications.
-
The system now logs the user and timestamp in the chart's history log
when a chart is manually sent to Slate.
-
Display formats, filters, and menu options in the Compensation Table
tabs were updated for a smoother user experience.
-
Salary lookups in Admissions charts now use the Compensation Table for
the academic year of the employment being entered instead of the default
academic year.
-
Graduate Division Admissions can now map Slate decision codes to GSMS
chart statuses through a new interface in the Admin area.
-
Template assignment now also checks the student's major to prevent the
wrong template from being assigned.
-
For a student's first academic year, charts now show only the terms from
their entry term onward. For example, for a student entering in Winter, the
chart displays only Winter and Spring for that year.
