[Campus Notice] What’s New With GSMS: Employment Module Features

Dear Colleague,

In our last communication, we introduced the next phase of the Graduate
Student Management System (GSMS) project <https://graduate.ucr.edu/gsms>,
the Employment Module. We are pleased to share that the testing phase is
progressing well. User acceptance testing (UAT) is underway, and we are
working closely with representatives from each college and school to
validate that the system meets business requirements and works as intended
in real-world scenarios.

Additionally, we are developing the training materials for the GSMS
Employment Module. Please keep an eye out for the training schedule, which
will be announced in the coming weeks.
GSMS Employment Module: What’s In it For You?

The GSMS Employment Module centralizes and automates graduate student
hiring and application management. Not only does it streamline processes
across campus, it also improves data visibility for creating positions and
offers.

The GSMS Employment Module has four key features: Eligible Students,
Positions, Offer Management, and Application Management. System permissions
are role-based. Documentation will be provided for all users to familiarize
themselves with the GSMS navigation.

We will continue to share more as we refine and test the module’s features
and functionalities. If you have questions or concerns about the GSMS
