[Campus Notice] Update on Your Alumni R’Mail Storage

Dear UCR Alumnus,

This is a follow-up message to our June 5 email with the subject line,
“Action Required: Review and Clean Up Your R’Mail Storage.” As mentioned in
our communication, the new R’Mail storage limit of 10 GB for alumni will
take effect on September 3, 2024.

Because your Google Workspace storage usage is currently close to or over
10 GB, ITS would like to emphasize that if you do not proactively reduce
your storage to under 10 GB, you will lose the ability to add data to your
Google Workspace storage starting on September 3.

On September 20, 2024, ITS will perform a reset on all alumni R’Mail
accounts that are over the 10 GB storage limit. If your R’Mail account is
reset, all your data will be irrevocably deleted. This includes data in
your R’Mail, Drive, Calendar, Photos, customization settings, etc.

If you have any questions about your alumni R’Mail account, or believe you
have received this email in error because you are a current student
(actively enrolled in courses at UCR), faculty, or staff, please contact
