[Campus Notice] Phone Service Upgrade to Zoom on June 15, 2023

[UCR Information Technology Solutions]

Dear Campus Phone User,

Information Technology Solutions (ITS) is excited to notify you that your
telephony service will be upgraded to UCR’s unified, modern telephony
platform, Zoom Phone Services
<https://its.ucr.edu/projects#Zoom-Phone-Services>, on June 15, 2023.

To ensure a smooth transition, you will be invited to attend a training
session approximately one week prior to Zoom Phone activation. Please keep
an eye out for this invitation! Note that training materials will be
available to those unable to attend the training session.

As part of the Digital Transformation initiative, ITS has invested in Zoom
Phone Services <https://its.ucr.edu/projects#Zoom-Phone-Services> to
replace outdated and soon-to-be unsupported technology. This new, reliable,
and flexible phone service will keep UCR connected and allow everyone to
communicate more effectively and efficiently.
