[Tech-bulletin] Notice of Upcoming Maintenance to Campus WiFi

[UCR Information Technology Solutions]

Dear Unit Leaders, 

 

Please be advised of upcoming maintenance to campus wireless internet
services, taking place from 2 AM to 5 AM on Friday, December 4, 2020. This
maintenance is required to complete a planned update to the campus network.


 

During the maintenance window campus users should expect to experience a
rolling interruption of campus WiFi services. Internet services via wired
cable connection (LAN Ethernet) should not be impacted by this change.
Please pass along this information to your units, as this maintenance will
impact all campus users attempting to access wireless internet during the
change window.
