*Are you ready to take your college experience beyond the classroom?*

Applications are still open for the *Winter 2027 UCDC Program*, but the *final
deadline is September 30!*

Through UCDC, you will have the opportunity to spend a quarter in *Washington,
D.C.*, gaining hands-on professional experience while earning academic
credit and building connections in the nation’s capital.

*Why UCDC?*

   - Gain real-world experience through an internship in Washington, D.C.
   - Explore opportunities in government, public policy, nonprofits,
   communications, research, advocacy, business, and more
   - Earn UCR academic credit while completing your internship
   - Build your professional network and strengthen your résumé
   - Live, learn, and work alongside students from across the UC system

*Eligibility Requirements*

UCDC is open to students from *all majors*. To be eligible, students must:

   - Have *junior or senior standing (90+ units)* by the time of
   participation
   - Have a minimum *2.7 cumulative GPA*
   - Be able to participate in the program for the full Winter 2027 quarter

   - Prepare your *personal statement/cover letter*

*Winter 2027 Final Application Deadline: September 30, 2026*

Applications are reviewed on a *rolling basis*, so students are encouraged
to apply as soon as they are ready.

*Important:* You do *not* need to have an internship secured before
applying to UCDC. Students admitted to the program receive support as they
prepare for and navigate the internship search process.
