Dear Highlanders,

*Calling all juniors and seniors! Interested in spending this Spring term
living and interning in Washington, D.C.?*

Applications are still open for *Spring 2027 UCDC*, giving you the
opportunity to take your UCR experience beyond campus and spend the quarter
gaining real-world experience in the nation?s capital.

Through UCDC, you can:

   - *Intern in Washington, D.C.* and gain experience connected to your
   career interests
   - *Earn academic credit* toward your UCR degree while completing your
   internship
   - *Build your professional network* and connect with professionals and
   UCR alumni in D.C.
   - *Live and explore D.C.* while experiencing everything the city has to
   offer
   - Use your *financial aid toward eligible UCDC tuition and housing costs*

UCDC is *not just for Political Science majors.* Students from across UCR
can pursue internships related to government and policy, communications,
media, arts and culture, nonprofits, advocacy, research, business, public
