Defining and Addressing Hate Bias Crimes/Incidents

    * The Anti-Defamation League will present a student leadership workshop on definitions and resources related to hate bias crimes and incidents. This workshop will also present on how communities such as UC Riverside can address hate bias related issues. This program is part of the First Year Success Series. Please signup at success.ucr.edu.

Real Issues, Reel Activism: "Not in Our Town" and "Not in R' House"
Thursday, January 15th
Commons 302s, 6:30pm-9pm 
    * Not in Our Town and Not in R' House are films which discuss how local communities combat hate in their towns. The Not in Our Town documentary deals with specific hate incidents that have affected different towns in Northern California and the community responses that have followed. Not in R' House is a documentary produced at UC Riverside discussing how UC Riverside students can combat hate and help to build a healthy campus community.
