[Step] STEP Meeting - May 19

Message from Carolyn...

Hi Everyone:

I offered to facilitate a discussion for the May 19 STEP Meeting.   
Please let me know if you’d like to work with me or if you want time  
to present another topic.

Here’s what I’d like to do:
Gather information from you about what topics/research you’re  
interested in/working on.
Find out what topics you enjoy presenting (to colleagues, student  
staff, volunteers, etc).
Learn what topics you’d like to know more about or would like for  
someone to present to you/your group.

I would like to create a spreadsheet listing this information and then  
have a discussion on May 19 about our interests and what we’d like to  
pursue.  Ideally, this conversation will spark partnerships and  
promote collaboration across departments.

For example:
Perhaps Jen enjoys Social Justice and is interested in/willing to  
present a session for Carolyn’s Leadership Seminar.
Maybe Jose can offer great insight to the Campus Apartment RAs about  
how to utilize the Career Center or how to get their residents involved.
We could even spend some time discussing Summer/Fall Training sessions  
that we’re already planning.

Again, please let me know if you’re interested in working with me or  
if you want time for another topic.
