[Shs-announcements] Lot 21 Linden St Driveways Closed during Highlander Orientation Check-In

Important TAPS announcement for next week—see below.

Highlander Orientation starts next week. While incoming 1st years will spend their 2-day orientation session Pentland Hills, parking is in the Big Springs Parking Structure 1.

Therefore on check-in days listed below, the Linden St. entrances to Lot 21 will be temporarily closed until 9:30 AM.  During this time, Lot 21 Pentland Way driveway will remain open. Please inform your patrons.

July 7-August 15 (excluding July 10)
Mondays & Thursdays
use Lot 21 Pentland Way driveway until 9:30 AM
This will reduce confusion and foster a smooth arrival experience for new incoming students and their families.

Should any 1st Year Orientation students or parents come into SHCC with questions,
parking for Highlander Orientation will take place in Big Springs 1, and vehicles must be registered through Offstreet: https://www.offstreet.io/location/VXS4RWTZ

·         Orientation students parking overnight may register for a 2-day permit specific to their assigned session.

·         Parents escorting their students to check-in may register for 30-minute parking. Time begins immediately upon registration. This option is available for pickup on Day 2.

·         Parents dropping off may drop-off zone in front of the Glen Mor RSO. No Offstreet registration required.
2 ambassadors will be on site until 9:30 AM to assist with Offstreet registration and general questions.
