In response to employee requests for training on the tools and knowledge necessary to respond in a crisis, we have invited the UCR Police Department to present campus faculty and staff with their Crisis Response Training<https://hr.ucr.edu/sites/default/files/2024-05/active-shooter-crisis-response-guide.pdf>. The session is focused on educating employees on the “RAIN” method by recognizing potential workplace violence indicators and describe actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential active shooter incidents.

The training is available in-person and via Zoom.  Please use the information below to attend the training in-person, on campus which requires registration via UC Learning Center (UCLC)<https://uc.sumtotal.host/Core/pillarRedirect?relyingParty=LM&url=core%2Factivitydetails%2FViewActivityDetails%3FActivityId%3D685108%26UserMode%3D0&domain=14>.  There is no registration required to attend the Zoom meeting.
