[Shs-announcements] Voter Registration Event: 2/5-3/5 @ Student Health & Counseling Center

Good Afternoon SHCC Building Team Members,

Beginning Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. through March 4, 2024 and on Election Day, Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. UCR has agreed to be a host location again this year, for Voter Registration, Drop off Mail-in ballot location, & Voting Center, which will utilize the SHCC conference room. While we do not expect an impact to clinical and departmental operations we wanted to ensure that all building occupants were aware of the details of this event.

During the next month there will be three staff members from the Riverside County Registrar of Voters that will be house in office 1301, which is the office next to the R 'Pantry satellite space, with entrance through the pharmacy door.

>From Thursday March 1, 2024 - Wednesday March 6, 2024, the conference room will not be available for reservations for meetings, as it will act as a voting center during this time.

Voting by mail Polling Dates- Feb. 5th-March 1st (only on weekdays)
Ballot Box hours: 10am-3pm (staff will be there at 9am-4pm; County Staff will be 2 groups of 3 that will alternate days)

In Person Voting Dates- Saturday, March 2nd - Monday, March 4th
Hours: 8am-5pm (staff will be there 8am-6pm)
Location: SHCC Conference Room #1324A, located on the 1st floor

In Person Voting March 5th
Hours: 7am-9pm (staff will be there 6:30am-9pm/10pm until completion of Election Board duties)
Location: SHCC Conference Room #1324A, located on the 1st floor.
