Dear Colleagues,



The Health, Well-being & Safety (HWS) Staff Engagement Committee will continue hosting and marketing events that allow us to connect with HWS staff and separate events to connect with students.



The HWS Book Club has launched and selected its book of choice for Spring 2024! If you are interested, RSVP before 5/22/2024 so we can add you to the group and you can read the book at your leisure. All are welcome, whether they have finished the reading selection or not.

Book of Choice: The Spring Quarter reading selection is  "When Women Were Dragons, by Bonnie Garmus."



The book is available for free at your local library and the UCR library. You may also choose to purchase the book with personal funds on

Relief time: This is a non-work and optional social hour to give staff the opportunity to connect with one another outside of the office. Please note you will need to check in with your supervisor if you would like to leave work early as this will not be considered work time.
