[SHCC-Announcements] AED Locations - SHCC Building

Dear SHCC Employees,

To ensure all personnel are aware of our AED equipment and to meet
California AED compliance guidelines, please note the locations of the four
AED kits within the SHCC building.

Lobby AED Units (Monitored Monthly):

- 1st Floor Lobby: Located immediately inside the front door.
- 2nd Floor Lobby: Located immediately outside the elevator.

Clinic AED Units (Monitored Monthly):

- Room 1106: Located in the marked cabinet at Station 1.
- Room 1036 (Trauma Room): Located on the emergency cart.

Important Information:

- Alarms: All AED cabinets in the lobbies are alarmed and marked with
signage. The alarm will sound upon opening the cabinet doors.
- Reset Keys: Keys to reset the alarms and cabinets can be obtained from
Hernan Salazar or Nikki McAndrew.
- Training: For information on taking Basic Life Support (BLS) training,
please contact Joshua Brown at joshua.brown1 at ucr.edu.
