<span style="color:black; font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies in Liberal Arts in the College of Liberal Arts at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, is seeking a full-time lecturer. This
position will be a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal to a second year. Duties and responsibilities include teaching introductory interdisciplinary studies courses, courses on the interactions between science, technology and society, and
media studies courses as well as other courses as needed. The teaching load is 3-4 four-unit courses per quarter, with 45 units total across the academic year. An A.B.D. or Ph. D. in an interdisciplinary field and a successful teaching record are required.
Teaching experience with science, technology and society or media and society courses preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.</span><span style="color:black"><span style="font-family:Calibri,Helvetica,sans-serif">
