new Center for Digital Ethics is hiring three positions, roughly early
career, mid career, and advanced career scholars. This is a new
initiative on campus that has generated a lot of interest and enthusiasm
within administration and is still very much figuring out its identity -
which means the new hires will probably set the tone! I'm not on the
search committee, but I am on the working group putting together the
Technology, Ethics, and Society program and happy to answer any

frameworks and solutions for digital technologies for the betterment of
humanity. All three appointments will have research professor
appointments in the Center, in addition to their tenure-line

is also launching a new suite of undergraduate programs at the
intersection of digital technology, ethics, and society, including a new
computer science major integrating applied ethics and policy into the
computer science curriculum and a new interdisciplinary program, with
attendant minor, in Technology, Ethics, and Society for
non-technologists. All three appointments will contribute to the

areas of research interest include, but are not limited to, issues
