Dear Colleagues,

I'm so excited to announce that Prof Celina Osuna (Dept of English, U Texas
El Paso) will be giving a talk on her research on deserts and
distortion on *Tuesday,
Feb 6 4:00-5:00 pm (Zoom and in INTS 3154)*. Osuna's talk would be of
interest to anyone interested in desert literature, thinking through
extreme environments, indigenous and latinx environmentalisms, desert
aesthetics, and more.

The talk is open to the public and I invite you to join. I also ask for
your help circulating the talk flyer to your colleagues and students, and
to share it on relevant faculty listservs and dept social media sites. The
jpeg may be easily uploaded to a powerpoint slide for those who wish to
advertise in class/lectures.

I include an embedded jpeg, a jpeg and PDF of the flyer.
