Please join us for the 2023 Stanford-Berkeley English Graduate Conference!



Greetings!

The committee for the 2023 Stanford-Berkeley English Graduate Conference
invites you to “Otherworlds,” a two-day symposium celebrating graduate
student research on otherness, alterity, and worldmaking in the context of
literature, culture, and alternative futures, to be held at Stanford
University and on Zoom April 22nd and 23rd, 2023.

*This event is free and open to the public!*

In addition to highlighting scholarly work from around the world, the
conference will also feature two keynote addresses from *Professor
Zamansele Nsele*, Assistant Professor at the University of California,
Berkeley in the Department of Modern and Contemporary African & African
Diasporic Art; and from *Ken Liu*, Hugo Award-winning author of the The
Dandelion Dynasty series. The full event schedule of panel presentations

Dr, Stanford, CA 94305) on April 22nd. Lunch and refreshments will be
provided. The Otherworlds symposium will complete virtually on April 23rd.
