[Sfts-students] Zoom conversation with Sophia al-Maria

Hi, everyone,

After receiving your suggestions for a guest speaker via Zoom this quarter,
we reached out your top choice, artist Sophia al-Maria. The good news is,
she'd be happy to speak with us! Tentatively, based on my own schedule, I
suggested Monday, November 29, Wednesday, December 1, or Friday December 3.
You should know that al-Maria will be in Qatar at that time (11 hours ahead
of California), so we're working on reconciling our time zones.
Once we find a time that works on both ends, please reach out to let me
know if you'd like to moderate the conversation!
