Dear colleagues,
I've just been made aware of this opportunity for emerging Black science
fiction writers. The prize includes publication in *Analog Science
Fiction* magazine.
Details:
openlab.citytech.cuny.edu/sciencefictionatcitytech/2021/05/14/the-analog-award-for-emerging-black-voices
*Analog Science Fiction and Fact* magazine launched a new award today
called The *Analog* Award for Emerging Black Voices
<https://www.analogsf.com/about-analog/analog-emerging-black-voices-award/>.
It is intended to recognize the work by writers who customarily identify as
Black and are at the beginning of their careers. Instead of simply
purchasing and publishing the winning story, *Analog* is going further by
providing mentoring, advice, and networking opportunities for the winner.
Submissions are accepted from May 14-July 23, 2021.
If you or anyone you know is interested, check out the guidelines at the
link!
Best,
andré
