*Event Description: *Rebekah Sheldon, Sean Grattan, and Bethany Doane come
together to discuss and analyze the New Weird and HBO’s *Lovecraft Country*.
Their discussion will be organized around the close reading of numerous
clips from the series, which will be screened during the event. A Q+A
session will wrap things up, during which all attendees will have the
opportunity to participate. Join us for a horror hour of serious, playful,
and *weird*—genre-transgressing*—*analysis of one of 2020’s most popular
