This roundtable is hosted by the Research Librarians Cohort and is designed to bring a variety of perspectives on accessible comics, non-visual comics, and multimodal comics as well as graphic narratives about disability. Presenters will
include advice for how libraries and librarians can connect readers with accessible comics. We will use a mix of academic, creative, and librarian experiences to inform the discussion. Roundtable participants will include Nick Sousanis and Emily Beitiks (Accessible
Comics Collective at San Francisco State University), Joanne Pak (Audiobook Producer, Instructor, CNIB, TMU); and JJ Pionke (Instructor of Information at Syracuse University). Moderated by Jason Larsen (Comics Studies Librarian, Michigan State University).
