Dear all,

We made it!

This is my final message for 2024, and I just wanted to say a heartfelt 'thank you' to scholars and readers of SF/F, like yourselves, who make this job so joyful.

2025 brings some very cool things to UCR, including the return of an in-person Eaton Conference, scheduled for April 4th-5th, 2025, and a virtual Eaton Symposium on January 8th to start the year with a bang! We at UCR would like to respectfully acknowledge and recognize our responsibility to the original and current caretakers of this land, water, and air: the Cahuilla, Tongva, Luiseño, and Serrano peoples and all of their ancestors and descendants, past, present, and future. Today this meeting place is home to many Indigenous peoples from all over the world, including UCR faculty, students, and staff, and we are grateful to have the opportunity to live and work on these homelands.
