sociocultural anthropological principles and theories underpinning the
disparities between the undergraduate and graduate education pipeline. Topics
include imposter syndrome, growth mindset, social and cultural capital,
intersectionality, and time poverty. and graduate diversity within the U.S
education system. Concurrent enrollment with WRIT40Y.</font></span></div><div><br></div><div><b>Secondarily, </b> <span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;text-align:justify">this course is designed to aid UC
students in considering graduate education by demystifying the graduate school
application process by providing a dedicated and rigorous space to explore
academic motivations, opportunities, and resources. </span><span style="font-family:Aptos,sans-serif;text-align:justify">Through a blend
of theoretical literature on learning and education, practical and diverse
instruction, and real-world application assignments, students will build
confidence in themselves and their future academic/professional objectives,
