I'm sure that you have seen posts or messages with lists of resources; <a href="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1KMk34XY5dsvVJjAoD2mQUVHYU_Ib6COz6jcGH5uJWDY/htmlview" target="_blank">this one from Mutual AId LA</a> is particularly good and comprehensive (thanks to SEHE TA Leslie Perkins for sharing it).</div><div>I'm writing to invite you and your students to three SEHE events this <b>Wednesday 1/15</b>.</div><div><br></div><div>From <b>5-6pm or so, please join us at the Stable</b> <b>for a SEHE social hour</b>, where you can share a drink and a snack, meet new SEHE postdoc Aaron Gregory and welcome SEHE faculty Cassia Roth to Riverside.</div><div><br></div><div>Prior to the social hour, please join the <b>Latinxs & the Environment seminar (3:30-5pm, INTN 3023)</b> for a presentation by SEHE faculty Jade Sasser on her climate anxiety research. Please consider offering extra credit to your students for attending the Latinxs & the Environment seminar on Wednesdays this quarter.</div><div><br></div><div>And before that, please send your students to the <b>SEHE Basic Needs Connections Study Break (1/15 1-2pm, INTN 3023)</b>. Students can learn about the resources that the Basic Needs Department offers (including the R'Pantry, Economic Crisis response grants, emergency housing and distributions in response to the recent fires) and catch up on the latest SEHE news as well. Lunch will be provided.</div><div><br></div><div>Finally, mark your students' calendar for the <b>SEHE Winter Open House on Wednesday January 29 (12:30-1:30pm, INTN 3023)</b>. Students can learn about the new majors, upcoming classes, and summer and research opportunities. Sam Ying will talk about the Latinxs & the Environment summer program; Macy Ring (Undergraduate Education) will share information about UCDC; and we'll also hear about the UC Labor summer internship program.
