Hi all!

See below. This is a late breaking opportunity to attend a San Bernardino Board of Supervisors meeting tomorrow morning, where you can weigh in on a proposed warehouse project that Bloomington residents have been fighting since 2021; apparently building AI data centers is one of the approved uses for the land if the vote goes through. The project is located right next door to an elementary school. Please attend and make a public comment if you’re available!

Best,
Jade

> Good morning Dr. Sasser,

> This is a warehouse project that the Bloomington community has been fighting since 2021. The site is right next to Zimmerman Elementary school, across from Kessler park, and 117 single family homes were displaced for the project. Construction was paused due to a lawsuit from PCEJ and other orgs, due to a flawed Environmental Impact Report. After a ne Environmental Impact Report was circulated, on August 20th the Planning Commission held a hearing and voted 3 to 0 in favor of recommending the project to the Board of Supervisors. At this meeting they clarified the land uses, and unfortunately Data Centers is a listed use, making this a warehouse/data center site.

> With the insight and familiarity you have on the impacts of pollution on community members, it would be amazing if you could join us and make a public comment. I am attaching the flyers and our petition to the Board of Supervisors here in case you can support us by signing and sharing.
>
> I would love to meet sometime to discuss any way we can support each other in our work in the Inland Empire. Please let me know if you have any questions.
>
> Sincerely,
> Vanessa Villanueva
