Dear SEHE friends,
R'Garden intern and SEHE student Hannah Gomez gave a great presentation in
my class this week about the upcoming R'Garden referendum. As you
(hopefully) know, the student referendum to support the R'Garden opens next
week (April 27-May 1). They must meet a minimum participation (4400
students) and a majority approval, or else the R'Garden

will end in June.
Hannah and her colleagues are hoping to reach students in our classes,
especially large lecture classes. If you are willing to offer some time
during lecture, please let Hannah know (hgome027 at ucr.edu). I'm attaching
the informational slides from her presentation here. As faculty and staff
are not allowed to advocate directly, giving the floor to passionate
students like Hannah is a great way to support this initiative.
Thanks for considering,
Dana
