In the Eastern Coachella Valley, many of the families who harvest the food
that feeds our nation struggle to access healthcare. The Coachella Valley
Free Clinic (CVFC) is working to change that.

We serve patients who have delayed care for years due to lack of insurance,
transportation, or access. At CVFC, they are welcomed by student
volunteers, healthcare providers, and community health workers committed to
providing care with dignity and respect.

CVFC is a student-run clinic affiliated with the UC Riverside School of
Medicine, providing free primary care, mental health services, chronic
disease management, and public health education to underserved communities
in this rural desert region. Since 2019, we have served as a vital safety
net for uninsured patients, many of whom are Latinx and Indigenous Mexican
agricultural workers.

As demand for services continues to grow, we invite you to support our work
by donating through the *UCR Give Day, April 7 at 12 pm through April 8 at
