FYI. Please share out widely!
We are excited to have the Mayor, a state climate assessment
representative, and city staff presenting on the climate action and
adaptation plan at this event. We also want as much input from students,
residents, etc. on what we should be working on locally. The final report
out from this event will go to UN COP 30 in November!
Please share this event with any students, listservs, classes, etc.

*About the event*
The City of Riverside and the UC Riverside Offices of Sustainability are
co-hosting a Climate Action Town Hall and you’re invited!
During the Climate Action Town Hall, participants will have the opportunity
to review local climate goals, learn about international climate policy,
and explore local climate actions. This is a unique opportunity to connect
with key community members with your input being shared with UN Climate
Change COP 30 in Belem, Brazil in November 2025.
*Special Guest:* Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson will deliver opening remarks
and breakfast will be provided! RSVP to attend and be part of the
conversation.
