*Background from a UAW representative:* "Yes, we are definitely organizing
our own Day of Action on April 8th in line with the nationwide effort
<https://www.killthecuts.org/> to stop the cuts to higher ed funding. At
UCR, we will be meeting at the Bell Tower at 12 pm. Here's the *RSVP
form* we've
been circulating: https://form.laborbase.org/250679086169066
We are really hoping for a large turn out, so please feel free to circulate
far and wide. We hope to see you there!"
P.S. This form is designed for UAW members but just select "other" if you
are not in one of their job titles so you can receive updates about this
action.
