Good afternoon, everyone:



I hope this message finds you well, and please forgive me for writing you
during finals week.



I am putting on an open-mic fundraiser connected to my research in Oaxaca,
Mexico. It will take place this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm at the Centro de
Jornaleros (Pomona Day Labor Center). No one will be turned away for lack
of funds: the event is free and promises to be educational and uplifting
for all. I am grateful to anyone who spreads the word to folks who might be
